hello, i'm Jeff Davis

After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Indiana University in 1990, I began my career in the financial-lending industry as a loan originator at Community State Bank in Avilla. A promotion to assistant vice president and compliance officer soon followed in 1993, and in that position I gained extensive experience in consumer, commercial and real estate lending.

In 1998 I saw a need in our area for a locally owned and operated mortgage company and established Davis Mortgage, Inc. Then in 2007, I had the opportunity to join the Hallmark team of professionals. Hallmark has the same locally owned and operated philosophy that I have so it is truly a perfect fit. In the past 35 years I have seen countless changes in the mortgage industry, but the one constant is my love of helping my customers achieve their home ownership goals.

My wife Lyndsay and I have been married 31 years and have 3 children, two son in laws and most recently a granddaughter. I serve at church in High School Ministry and play bass guitar in two local bands. As the years go by, I have become more aware that there is a big difference in just being alive and living a full life!
